Ceramics have a long history of being closely linked with Zen philosophy and aesthetics. The simple and elegant forms of ceramics align with the Zen concept of wabi-sabi, which celebrates imperfection and the beauty of the natural world.
My inspiration is seen in the minimalist design and earthy color palettes often used in ceramic pieces, as well as the emphasis on texture and touch.
I want my Ceramics and art to be a physical reminder to be raw, mindful, and authentic in everything we do in life. To also appreciate and be present in whatever moment we find ourselves in.
